Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the website operated by JUNGKUM FASTENER INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. ("the Company").
1. Scope
These terms apply to all services provided on this site, including product information, access to technical documents and quotation requests. Matters not covered here follow the applicable laws of the Republic of Korea and commercial practice.
2. Membership and Approval
- Membership requires approval by the Company. Submitting an application does not by itself create membership.
- The Company may refuse or defer approval where the application contains false information, where there is reason to believe the technical documents would be used for competitive purposes, or where the applicant previously lost membership for breaching these terms.
- The outcome is sent to the email address given in the application.
3. Account Security
Members must not disclose or share their account or password. Members are responsible for consequences arising from failure to keep them secure, and must notify the Company immediately if an account is compromised.
4. Permitted Use of Technical Documents
Please read this clause carefully — it concerns the Company's core assets.
- Copyright and all other rights in 2D drawings, 3D geometry data, product data sheets, test certificates and other technical documents ("Technical Documents") belong to the Company.
- Members may use Technical Documents solely for design review and purchasing by the company the member belongs to.
- Without the Company's prior written consent, members must not:
- provide, share, redistribute or publish Technical Documents to or for third parties;
- reproduce or modify them for use as their own or a third party's material;
- attach the Company's test certificates or approvals to products not supplied by the Company, or otherwise create such an impression;
- collect Technical Documents in bulk by automated means.
- The Company records document view and download history. Where a breach is identified, the Company may act under Article 6 and pursue remedies available at law.
5. Provision and Change of Services
- Services may be suspended in whole or in part for maintenance, communication failure or force majeure.
- Product information and figures published on this site are for reference only and are not guaranteed values. Verification under actual service conditions is recommended.
- Stock levels, prices and lead times are not published on this site and are provided on individual enquiry.
6. Restriction and Termination of Membership
The Company may suspend or terminate membership without prior notice where a member breaches Article 4, provided false information on application, or interferes with the rights of others or the operation of the service. Obligations under Article 4 continue to apply to documents already accessed.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not liable for loss arising from decisions made in reliance on information published on this site, save in cases of the Company's intent or gross negligence. Suitability of a product depends on the conditions of use and requires prior verification.
8. Amendment
These terms may be amended, with notice given at least 7 days in advance, or 30 days in advance together with individual notice where the change is unfavourable to members.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are submitted to the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
